This sweet girl is a pleasure to be around. She is all things fun. And Sweet and Beautiful. I wish I could bottle this moments in time and pull them out in the future. Janelle always wants to do soemtihng fun. Watch a movie, go for a walk, get a treat, play a game. We can just get home from doing something and she is asking what will be the next thing! She does it in a sweet way, not nagging, but this girl is up for adventure.
For her 11 birthday we got to go to the Great Wolf Lodge and play in the water. Landen, Carson, Nathen, and I and Serra, got to go and play with her. We also had the opportunity to go to a train park near Scottsdale, Arizona. It was a fun trip! The following weekend she got to spend the weekend with Ethen and Breeana. They went to the U of A vs BYU football game. She had a blast and even got some time on the big screen at the game. |

Janelle is loved by all who meet her. She has a natural gift of being tender and sweet towards others. People flock to her. She has some really good friends.
Acadia Reynolds, Riley Mudge, Kayla Stover. Last April they had a bake sale earning over $300. They wanted to spend that money by going on an adventure. They went to the mall and watched a movie, Lilo and Stitch, with popcorn and all the fixings! We went out to lunch at Panda Express and spent some time at the local water park in Sierra Vista. They ended their trip with buying matching shirts that say, BESTIES. I hope they remain close! She is trying Softball this year because of Kayla. She hasn't played before. I used to play years ago and always wanted a child of mine to play! Grateful she was willing to try.
These last few years I have had the opportunity to work at the school. I was in the preschool for 2 years and now am in my Second year teaching Kindergarten. I love being there. I love the opportunity to have the same schedule as my children. And to kind of know the in and outs of what is going on in the school. I had Serra last year in my kindergarten class and I was in heaven. When ever she sees me she will run and give me a hug. It melts my heart. There is something so beautiful and innocent about children, and I am so grateful to be apart of the school that my kids attend. Janelle and Serra dress up as cute little Dalmatians for the 101 day of school. I am grateful Janelle still is child-like minded. She sill will play with Serra and has such a fun imagination. She is now in 5th grade. She is such a pretty girl! I love her sense of style and order. She is such a great helper at home organizing, cleaning, watching and playing with Serra. I JUST LVOE HER! She started play sports this year. She went to a volleyball camp over the summer and came home discouraged things she wasn't very good. I remember giving her the talk, well then be the best cheer leader and cheer on your teammates! Try your best and give your all but don't get stuck in being ht best in the sport, but make it fun! We went to her first home game and was surprised not only was she starting but she was also 1st up to serve. She brought in 6 points right off the bat and I could easily see, that she was GOOD! She has a natural athletic tendency. I have enjoyed watching this blossom. I know she loves to dance and to cheer, but grateful she has some skill so in the athletic department. Last season was volleyball. Current Season is Softball, next season will be basketball. |

Janelle has loved having her cousins here. She loves to play with them. It has been fun seeing them cheer each other on. We secretly wish they went to St. David, but Benson is the logical place to be and such a good school as well. We just don't see them as much as we would like! grateful for campouts, church days, and times they get to chill together. I have been working towards becoming a foot zoning practitioner. I know it sounds weird, but I have seen many blessings come form this! When I came home from a conference I had in Utah, Janelle had this message on the floor waiting for me when I came home. |

Landen has been playing football. He really enjoys it. We have enjoyed cheering him on. Janelle and Serra keep each other entertained.
Janelle has also spent sometime playing the violin. She doesn't really like it. And now that she is playing sports, her violin has taken a back seat. I used to teach piano lessons so I would find a way to tach my own children. I stopped teaching lessons when I started teaching Kindergarten and my kids quit playing. I started teaching 3 students from one cute little family early on Wednesday mornings before school. I need to find a way to get my kiddos playin again, and this is the way! |

Because my mother's memory is failing - she has no memory of what we did, I am sure she in no doubt forget the feeling she felt. I know I was very grateful to have her with me! |
